The short version
Skdaddle LLC builds software that works without watching you. We do not sell personal information, we do not run third-party advertising, and our apps are designed to collect as little as possible — in most cases, nothing at all.
Spell It! Spelling for Kids
Spell It! (iOS and the web version) is made for children, so it is built to the strictest standard we have: it collects no data.
- No accounts, sign-ins, or profiles.
- No ads and no in-app purchases.
- No analytics, tracking, or third-party SDKs.
- Word lists, settings, scores, and streaks are stored only on your device and never leave it. Deleting the app deletes them.
- Read-aloud audio uses your device's built-in speech synthesis; nothing is sent to a server.
Because the app transmits nothing, there is no personal information from children (or anyone else) for us to receive, store, share, or sell.
This website
skdaddle.com is a static site. It sets no tracking cookies and includes no third-party analytics. Our hosting provider keeps standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP address, request time, and page requested) for security and reliability; we do not use them to identify visitors.
If you email us, we receive what you send and use it only to reply. We do not add you to mailing lists.
Children's privacy
Our children's products are designed so that no personal information is collected from children, consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Apple's Kids Category requirements. If you believe a child has sent us personal information (for example, by email), contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change — for example, if a future product adds accounts or analytics — we will update this page and its “last updated” date before those changes take effect.
